As many of you have seen on the news, there is record breaking flooding happening here in the Midwest. We've been lucky as it has not been a problem in our day to day lives out here, but as you can see by the first few photos taken down by the Arch Riverfront, the water is getting increasingly high. Two days after these photos were taken, the water almost hit the 12 ft sign show here.
Please keep all of the farmers and those affected by the floods in your prayers.
On a lighter note, we had a chance this past weekend to explore the downtown a bit more, and walk around the Arch and Riverfront Park. We've been impressed by how many fun things there are to do in the city and how much bigger it is than we thought at first glance.
We had a pretty busy weekend, as we also went to the zoo, I met some new friends to go out for dinner and a movie, and the movie theater was in a hotel, one of the strangest, but most interesting things I've seen in awhile.
We are enjoying the great weather and the new sights and sounds, but do very much miss all of your back on the West Coast, and would love to have you come and visit and are looking forward to seeing you on the holidays!
