Cruise Vacation

We had a wonderful time cruising around the Bahamas! The holiday decorations made it extra fun as it was 85-90 degrees the whole time - didn't seem at all like December.
Below you'll see:

-The Queen's Staircase and waterfall from Nassau, Bahamas - we ended up on our own private tour of the area as we came later in the day. It is bigger than it looks in the photo and has a very interesting history.

- The little towel duck. The crew makes little towel friends every night with turn down service, they were pretty cute.

- Many of the photos below are from Coco Cay - it was our favorite stop and the Cruise line's private island. We went snorkling both there and at Nassau - it was really fun with lots of tropical fish, however at Coco Cay we were amazed at how unafraid of people the fish were. At one point, we were underwater with about 70 tropical fish, all surrounding us and getting close enough to touch. While it was quite a sight to see, we were both ready to move away - especially after hearing a few of the fish may be poisionous.
They also had hammocks on Coco Cay - so we spent part of the day relaxing, drinking lemonade and working on our tans - which ended up making us both look like lobsters for a few days.

As you'll see in the photos - the water was a very beautiful rich blue and very clear when you are in and under the water.

It was a much needed break from the world and the midwest - and the 90 degree weather was nice, however we just put up our tree this past weekend and are now gearing up for some snow.
Hope this finds you well!
